So Disappointing!

I have seen BMG two times before this show (Vegas and New York) and I thought those shows were AMAZING. The one in Portland fell flat in MANY ways. Not worth the cost at all. First of all, they started AN HOUR late. Not only is that disrespectful to all of the paying attendees who made plans to get there on time, but that makes it really challenging for families who brought young children who now have to stay up later than planned…on a MONDAY (school night). Secondly, the show itself was a watered-down version of the other shows I have seen. All they did was make everything into a drum, wack on it and call it a show. Also they they spent too much time roaming the audience for volunteers and when they did finally pick one, they ended up being super awkward and annoying on stage. Didn’t know what they were supposed to do. Like watching a slow motion car crash. So bad! Overall, I would not recommend this show to anyone. It also makes me question whether or not I would go to another show at the Cross Insurance Arena at all. For family-friendly shows in the future, please make them happen on Weekends and offer a matinee performance…and start on time!
